mathematicsThis Mathematics lesson is designed for a grade 6 classroom. The purpose of this lesson was introduce a large unit project relating to transformations. Students were provided exemplars, scaffolding and supplies to "build their own" transformation game. This project served as a major summative assessment of student learning over several classes.

MathematicsThis Mathematic lesson is designed for a Kindergarten classroom. The purpose of this lesson is to build numeracy by creating representative groups of numbers through finger painting "Two Two Trees". Students use the "Two Two Trees" as the basis for counting to 10 as well as subitizing numbers from 2-5.

ScienceThis lesson focused on making accurate observations and building student capacity to look for minute details. A graphic organizer was included to help observe key features of a clementine orange. Students made detailed observations of their oranges. Oranges were the mixed up and students used their observation sheets to rediscover their specific fruit among a large collection of oranges.
