The Local Library Collective is an all-ages, inclusive community for arts and cultural expression. As Co-Founder/Co-Artistic Director, I served as part of the catalytic group of members through contributing to galleries, concerts, and workshops while managing administrative responsibilities.
Central United Church (2006 - 2012) - Director of Intergenerational & Urban Community Outreach
Responsibilities focused on working directly with at-risk/street entrenched youth, family addictions recovery, facility management & staff oversight, ESL Coordinator/Instructor, Christian Education Director, community camp leader/organizer, communications (web/print) and grief support.
Mustard SEED Street Ministry (2004 - 2006) - Housing Support Worker
Front-line resource staff with the primary responsibility to assist, resource and support men and women transitioning out of homelessness. This involved personal, emotional and vocational mentoring, facilitating a user-driven goal setting program, building awareness of resources and agency programs, and providing for the basic needs and dignities of marginalized individuals.
